In this video, I just wanted to show you a mistake that most local tourism businesses are making with their Instagram accounts.
It’s a great idea to integrate social media, but you need to do it the right way.
A couple of years back, Instagram stopped sending your photos to Twitter to post…they just put a link back to the photo! But that’s not what you want – you want your photos to actually be visible.
But there is a simple solution, and I’m going to show you right now.
Head to IFTTT.com(opens in a new tab) and hit the very first recipe. The idea of IFTTT is that you can hook up various accounts with each other to make them all work together. When you use this method, you can post to Instagram, and IFTTT will upload your image to Twitter for you! Pretty cool, huh?
